About Us

Netcare Linmed Hospital opened in 1993 to serve the communities in and around Benoni and has since more than doubled the number of patients it can accommodate. Our skilled and experienced specialists, backed by advanced technology and professional nursing care, provide a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary healthcare services. Our care is centred around the unique needs of each patient. We respect their dignity, care for them with compassion, and are committed to providing the best and safest care and the best possible clinical outcomes. The hospital’s 24 hour emergency department has fully equipped resuscitation and procedure rooms. An independent medical practice is responsible for managing the clinical services provided to patients. The gynaecological, obstetric, and paediatric services offered at our hospital are complemented by antenatal and postnatal mother and baby wellness services.

We also provide a range of other medical and surgical treatments, amongst other general, neurospinal, and orthopaedic surgery, including joint replacements. The range of advanced computed and digital radiology services include state of the art MRI scanning, enabling shorter examination times and enhanced images to aid diagnosis. Our in-hospital retail pharmacy dispenses prescription and over the counter medicine to the public and provides clinical pharmacy services to patients.
