About Us
Shannon McIntyre is a Biokineticist based in Bedfordview & Edenvale.
What is a Biokineticist:
"A biokineticist is a specalised exercise therapist who works along side allied health and medical practioners, and is recognized by and registered with the Health Professional Council of South Africa."
We aim to improve a person's quality of life through individualized assessment and exercise prescription. We are concerned with the rehabilitation of injury or diseases and exercises is used to strengthen balance, proprioceptors, muscles weakness and tightness as well as tightness around the joint itself.
