About Us
Dr Samantha Parish is a General Specialist Physician with an interest in critical care, infections & antimicrobial stewardship. I operate an outpatient clinic for patients with hypertension, diabetes, mellitus, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disease, COPD & Asthma etc.

I am British by birth but can speak & understand Afrikaans as I was schooled in Centurion, RSA. I obtained both an undergraduate (MBBCh) and post graduate degree (FCP(SA)) from Wits University. I spent 9 months as a fellow in Cardiology & consultant physician at the Charlotte Maxeke & Helen Joseph Hospitals.

I started in private practice in 2000 & was at the time an honorary consultant in the main ICU at Charlotte Maxete Hospital under the mentorship of Prof Guy Richards & Prof Mervyn Mer. I have worked in a number of private hospitals (in Johannesburg & West Rand) in the past 17 years & I am currently based at the Netcare Jakaranda Hospital since January 2018.

I am passionate about my work & patients & pride myself on quality of care & good communication both with the patients, family & colleagues.

I also keep myself updated on the latest medical trends; I am an avid reader of CPD articles & attender of webinars etc.
