About Us
Thandeka Mpanza is an admitted Attorney of the High Court with a Bachelor of Laws degree and is currently pursuing her Master of Laws (LLM) in Insurance Law.
Thandeka specializes in Litigation, focusing on Commercial and Corporate Law, General Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Labour and Employment Law. Detailed information about her expertise is available under practice areas.
She has been elected to serve on the Executive Council of the House of Constituents for the Law Society of South Africa.
During her studies, Thandeka demonstrated her leadership skills, holding several positions within the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter. Notably, she was the first female to be appointed National Executive Committee Deputy President, leading over 20 universities.
Thandeka also served on the Student Representative Committee and continues to serve as the Secretary General for the Black Lawyers Association North West Provincial Committee.
Additionally, Thandeka is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers, a distinguished group of young individuals committed to making a strategic impact. The Global Shapers influence policy through dialogue, contributions, and partnerships.
A dedicated philanthropist, Thandeka uses her legal expertise to uplift her community and support women. She founded the non-profit organization "I Am Woman I Am Rock," which aims to empower young women to pursue further education and seize opportunities from both the government and private sector. She encourages them to master their crafts and actively seeks bursaries and employment opportunities for these aspiring young women. Thandeka believes in empowering young women so they can, in turn, empower others, using the law as a powerful tool for change.
