About Us
With a solid educational background including an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and a BPsych from NMMU, Precious Ramasodi's journey as a psychotherapist has been enriched by diverse experiences and rigorous training. Her expertise spans various theoretical modalities and psychometric assessments, honed through internships at esteemed institutions such as the Port Elizabeth Rape Crisis Centre, Dora Nginza Hospital, and the Nelson Mandela University Psychology Clinic.
Throughout her career, Precious has had the privilege of working with individuals across the spectrum of mental health, from acute illnesses to high functioning states. Her therapeutic repertoire encompasses a wide array of concerns including adjustment, depression, grief, anxiety, bipolar mood disorder, traumatic stress, addiction, and gender-based violence, among others.
Believing in the healing power of interpersonal connection, Precious offers counseling rooted primarily in psychodynamic theory, while remaining adaptable to the unique needs of each client. Whether it's Person-centered counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused counseling, or other modalities, she strives to tailor her approach to best serve the individual.
