About Us

Managing Director Byron Conway has more than 12 years of experience in the flooring and decking industry.
He started off in manufacturing and sales of solid hardwood flooring for Bedson Timbers, before being involved in the Inovar Group for 9 years in residential and large scale commercial sites doing flooring and decking installations. Conway Flooring and Decking sources, supplies and installs flooring and decking products to suit all client requirements and budgets. We also focus on turnkey solutions – from design and implementation to construction and completion.

Relationships are our main focus. We will go out of our way to ensure customer satisfaction on all our projects.
Our vision at Conway Flooring and Decking is to create a sustainable living, working, and commercial spaces that push architectural and design boundaries while respecting and incorporating the environment.

Green Policy

Conway Floor decorative laminate flooring is made of raw materials from renewable resources using wood waste for the substrate from hardwood forests which are under strict forest management control or what we call 'plantation' forests. This eliminates the need to extract wood from natural forests, thus making Conway Floor a natural product that is environmentally friendly and totally biodegradable. The design layer is reproduced, by taking a photo of the real timber, using sophisticated technology. Wood decors are reproduced to look like the original timber and give you that true-to-life wood look and feel without having to exploit our natural forests.

Conway Floor's completely sealed non-porous surface does not allow the breeding of dust mites or micro-organisms, unlike some other floor covering materials. This creates a healthier environment for our little ones. All these superb qualities make Conway Floor the best option available today when it comes to selecting a floor covering material, whether it is for your home sweet home or for your business premises or office. The specialist distributor network consists of 28 outlets throughout South Africa and across the border, selling both Inovar Floor and Finfloor with a further 43 flooring outlets that sell, supply and install the Finfloor brand/product.
